Tysabri (natalizumab) is an intravenous (IV) infusion therapy that treats multiple sclerosis (MS) and Crohn's disease. It's a disease modifying therapy (DMT) that works by preventing T cells, a type of immune system cell, from entering the brain and spinal cord.
MS (SPMS) and moderately to severely active Crohn's disease.

Tysabri is given as an infusion through a vein in an infusion caeter every four weeks. The infusion takes about an hour, and there's usually an additional hour for monitoring.
Common side effects include dizziness, nausea, skin rash, and shivering. Other side effects include infections, headache, fatigue, depression, joint pain, and menstrual problems
