STELARA® is an FDA-approved drug used to treat:
- plaque psoriasis in certain adults and children ages 6 years and older
- psoriatic arthritis* in adults and children ages 6 years and older
- Crohn’s disease in adults
- ulcerative colitis in adults

STELARA® is a brand of ustekinumab that treats plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. This medication treats symptoms of these conditions and it isn't a cure.

What to Expect During STELARA® Infusion Therapy
During STELARA® infusion therapy, patients can expect to be in a comfortable, patient-centered atmosphere. The therapy is administered by trained professionals who monitor the patient's condition throughout the process. The therapy session may last for a few hours, during which the patient can relax, read, or engage in light activities.
STELARA® Side Effects
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):
- diarrhea
- nausea, vomiting
- redness, itching, swelling, or bruising at site where injected
- stomach pain
- tiredness
